Hey blogger world out there! I have decided to take this on completely. It has taken around a week and half to get this somewhat close to what I like. Hopefully its all working now;-)

I have really enjoyed reading other photographers blogs and learning from them. Its so nice when a photographer has taken the time to help another photographer out just by posting a post about what they do or how they do it. So I hope that maybe I can do the same.

So if you want to keep up with my recent work or hear my ramblings. Check back here for more!

And because everything is better with a picture here is a preview from last weekends wedding.

Love the architecture in all the buildings, all the vines and greenery and of course the people. Pictures amazing. Thanks for sharing your day with us.

Jost Family

And then you get families and clients like these amazing people. Where you feel instantly connected and in love with shooting their laughs and giggles and racing around in their John Deere “gator”. I loved getting the chance to work with the Jost family. I loved how I could tell the kids to fake laugh and you would get this adorable throw your head back belly laugh instantly.

Jost family, I am so honored to have gotten to work with you guys and see your new farm home. Its a gorgeous location and I can see for many years to come laughter, pure joy, and love flowing through your property.

Morton Family 2014

I have had the incredible honor and total privilege to work with this family for two years now. I can’t believe its been that long but seriously so cool for me to see this family grow. Clients like this have become such close friends and its cool to see how God has grown their family in more ways than one.

The Morton family is currently living out on a farm. So of course we had to take their photos there.

What words can I say to even begin to describe how lucky I feel to have you guys as clients. Thank you for continuing to use me to capture such precious times in your family. And I can’t wait to see what happens next;)

God has worked in and around these two individuals lives. That was evident in everything we did and saw on their special day. From having them meet to bringing them together in marriage. Hearing the toasts given at their reception it was known to all who was there that God is going to do great things in their relationship and through it.

It was a complete honor to be apart of your big day. I am honored to call you clients and now friends and I can’t wait to see your family grow as the years go by;)

You know those couples that are so easy and care free together and it makes you just want to sit and watch and much fun they have together? This couple reminded me of that. The way they just giggled and laughed so easily made taking their photos easy!!!

Thanks for choosing us to capture this special time in your lives. We can’t wait for your September wedding!

Douglas+Olivia=1 year anniversary/lifestyle shoot

How cool to go from shooting a couple who has been married 30 years to shooting some of my best friends 1 year anniversary!!

I can’t believe they have only been gone a couple weeks. Gosh I miss them. But I know they are right where God wants them! I was telling Olivia a couple months ago how when our anniversary comes around I want to do some images inside and around our first home. Since we probably won’t be in this house for another year it would be so amazing to capture our first home together in a special way. Well Olivia agreed and asked if I would do this for her as well and I jumped at the chance.

What I like most about these images are the lighting may not be the best….colors may not be perfect…. and poses may not be picture perfect. But they are perfect. In every way because it captures THEIR first home and celebrates THEIR first year of marriage. It can remind them of all the small little arguments, burnt supper, and mustang work. All the laughs until you can’t breath or maybe need to pee, late night coffee makes and Casey donut runs, and playing Mario Cart they have had in this little apartment.

I love you guys and can’t wait for October to be here!
