My name is Nola Courtney Nicole but I go by Courtney

I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ  [(Proverbs 16:3 & 9 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed...In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps]

I love my family and friends [Even if they drive me crazy sometimesI love how they are always here for me]

I absolutely love this amazing thing called *Photography*

I love to ride to ride my horses

I love my horses… their quiet manner lets me know that it will be ok

I love summer’s evenings and sunsets

I love the smell of rain and the sound of it [even though I do not like mud]

I don’t like how a cloudy day makes me sleepy and unmotivated

I only like winter and snow around Christmas but after that it can go away

I adore the golden light… it’s one of my favorite looks for photos

I love to have deep conversations… unless it’s about something depressing

I am very much a night owl… Mornings are not on my favorite’s list.

I love sleep and I hate feeling tired

I love the laughs of my little siblings

I love the country Haiti because it gave me my adopted brothers and sister

 

I have been into photography just a little under two years and I am exclusively self-taught. I love it when I figure something out completely on my own or by researching it. I feel very satisfied after accomplishing something on my own like that. I am so incredibley blessed to have been given the opportunity to photograph people. My passion is weddings and newborns.  There is something about capturing the love of a bride and groom that rocks my world. The sweetness of a newborn’s face sleeping melts my heart.
