John+Jody=Couple

I was very excited to get the opportunity to work with John and Jody when they emailed me. I don’t have very many couples that are already married that want a session for just themselves. Normally its all family sessions! Which is great but I really admired how they took time to get some photos of just themselves for their anniversary.

Which is today!!!! Happy anniversary guys. I had a great time with you and wish you many more years of togetherness.

Jesse+Megan=Engagement

Jesse and Megan were my third engagement session of the weekend. And I was a little worried that after having two other sessions I would feel like I was just doing the same thing over and over again. But not with these two!

They had that kind of love that they just laugh with each other so easily. I loved watching these two get excited to be posed. They have known each other since high school and I have no doubt that they will laugh their way through life’s struggles.

Thank you guys so much for giving me the opportunity to enjoy how much fun you all have. I can’t wait for your October wedding!

Zoey=Newborn

Since being gone for a week and then having two weddings before and after that. I have really been trying to keep up with all the editing…. I haven’t been doing as good with posting but now trying to get caught up on all that.

So here is little miss Zoey. Isn’t she adorable?! She was no doubt the easiest newborn we have ever done. Her mama and daddy are doing a great job of getting her on a schedule. She was such a joy to work with!!!

Paris Day-6

I can’t believe this trip is over… we won’t get to see Paris again in the day time.  :( Its gone by so fast looking back at it. But at the same time it felt like it lasted forever. Probably due to all the walking and trying to find our way around. I really have loved being here. Its been such a experience getting to see a completely different country and how they have been raised.

The thing I’m going to miss the most is hearing their pretty language all the time. There has been so many times where I so want to know what they were saying. Like on the Metro when there is homeless guys yelling things and then asking for money. Or tonight when the girl cashier at the store was talking to the guy cashier about me from across the aisle. They were probably laughing at us dumb americans.:P

And having inside jokes with Jill and not needing to say anything but all we do is look at each other and bust out laughing. Its so sad its gone by fast. But I can’t wait to see my family and all my animals. I will never forget this and its sad to go home.

Today we went to the Luvre’ and the Opera Garnier. It was BEAUTIFUL to say the least!!! Oh and the ice cream we found here… nothing at all like we have at home. AHH-mazing!!

Paris Day-5

So today went a little bit unplanned. We didn’t get back last night until like 1:30am. And we were planning on getting up early to go up the Eiffel tower because the day we had planned on it it was rainy and really cold. So when we got home really late and was super tired from walking the whole day. The early morning didn’t happen.:PAs in it was like 11:30 before we left.

We were trying to get that done and some other things and only ended up getting 2 things done. Which were not on the list for today.:P I felt so bad for Angie who has been the one figuring out our schedule and where everything is. And then everything wasn’t going according to plan because when we finally got done with the Eiffel tower the Luvre was closing. But God knew that was the plan all along thankfully.

But even though everything was going wrong, I am just really enjoying being here. Watching people and the way they are here is so interesting to me. Oh and we got to ride on a boat all the way through Paris… during sunset!!:D

One thing that was super cool for me was you know how everyone gets something wherever they go or travel? Well I hadn’t decided what I wanted my “thing” to be. Then I saw it today. A decorated license plate that said Paris, France.  I was beyond excited!!!
